As a SW Washington Senior Photographer, I am always excited to help create and deliver a senior’s unique vision for their session. The lovely Reilly will be graduating with the class of 2018 from Camas High School. She has her sights set on some amazing goals and adventures! Reilly’s creative ideas highlighted several of her interests and passions, which made this session fun and original. When she mentioned wanting a bookstore/library vibe I knew the perfect location. Filled with bright window light, rows upon rows of books, and beautiful architecture, right in the heart of downtown, the Vancouver Community Library gave us the perfect backdrop!
It’s no wonder her enjoyment of reading has spurred on many other interests and opportunities. Her stack of books would certainly include history, cooking, and world travel, just to name a few! All of which she plans to continue studying and experiencing in college and beyond.
While we were surrounded by modern architecture, Reilly shared that she loves history. Her plan is to study abroad during college and immerse herself in culture and rich history Europe has to offer.
Although she calls SW Washington home, opportunities to travel internationally, speak another language, and serve those in need during her high school years has been an adventure as well. As she shared stories of her travels and ministry to those far from home, you could see her eyes light up. It is no wonder the amazing blessing she is to those close to home and across the world as she shares her gifts and talents!
To illustrate her love of music and art, our next stop included brightly colored, music inspired murals. Reilly has wide-ranging list of music genres and styles that make up her daily soundtrack.
But what’s a great soundtrack without some special effects?! In addition to wanting vibrant artwork, Reilly had planned ahead and brought along bubbles!
As the golden light of a beautiful spring evening warmed the skies, we found ourselves surrounded by the apple blossoms at the historic Fort Vancouver. In planning her session, Reilly and her mom both hoped we would be able to find beautiful spring blossoms. Our timing couldn’t have been more perfect!
After spending the afternoon with Reilly, it’s evident she brings incredible joy into the lives of those who surround her. Her biggest cheerleader, and the one who will miss her the most as she heads off this fall, will be her mom. You can see the love and warmth this mother and daughter share!
Tammy and Reilly, it was such a treat to get to know you more! Congratulations Reilly and best wishes as you head off to college this fall!
