It was a beautiful crisp morning down at the gorgeous new Vancouver Wa waterfront! Winter had made it’s one and only appearance with a late snow the week before, and in the blink of an eye we were welcoming blue skies and spring sunshine!
Bright sunshine, snuggles, and laughter were the perfect way to keep this little guy happy and warm!
There was so much to see and explore, as the Vancouver Waterfront is changing each day. For a two year old, checking out the construction on land, the passing tug boats on the Columbia River, and the unique landscaping of the waterfront park was truly an adventure.
When the tug boat and barge passed by, father and son took in all there was to see. As a result, mom had a quiet moment to enjoy the sun.
I recently shared in a social media post the importance of moms being IN photos with their kids. (read more here) This beautiful mama is a talented photographer and I know how much she values having beautiful images with her little boy!
In addition to posed shots, I find it’s equally important to have fun and let families enjoy the experience. When photographing families with little ones, usually there is at least one dance party that happens before the end of our time together. The K family was no exception!
Before there were kids, it was just two people who fell in love. Pausing for a sweet moment of laughter between these two was a must! I even had a little helper who helped me take a few extra shots.
Thank you K family for the pleasure of capturing your beautiful family!
